Almost every sentence a first grader writes contains at least one noun, usually two. This course names that kind of word and teaches students to find them.
Students learn the four things a noun can name, sort words into those groups, and then work on the part most practice skips: finding nouns inside real sentences, where there is more than one and where they do not all sit at the front. The last lesson also clears up a mix-up that comes straight from earlier work. The naming part of a sentence can be four words long, but the noun inside it is only one of them.
